General Information
We pride ourselves in hand making made-to-order, limited-edition pieces. The majority of our pieces require a reservation with a 50% nonrefundable deposit to place an order. A deposit covers material costs, labor, secures and reserves a specific build. We will contact you to confirm your order. We then give you an approximation of manufacturing and delivery time. At this point we will submit an invoice detailing your order and deposit amount. When your piece is ready to be shipped, the remaining balance, including any applicable taxes and shipping charges, will be invoiced to you. Your item will only be promptly shipped upon full payment of the remaining balance. We cannot indefinitely hold your reservation on any item after we have submitted the final invoice. After reasonable time and notification we must release your reservation to another customer, and offer you a place back in reservations (even that has a limit). In the event that we may have a desired item in stock you will be notified that no deposit is required. You will simply be invoiced the full amount, including applicable taxes and shipping charges, upon taking your order.

Payment Methods
We accept payment via PayPal Invoicing. Payments can be made using all major credit cards, your bank account or your PayPal account balance. You do not need a PayPal account for your transaction. PayPal uses the latest anti-fraud technology and does not share any of your personal or financial information with us, so you can feel secure about your purchase.

Shipping
Shipping will be calculated based on the volume and weight of your piece, as well as shipping location. We make our best effort to ship immediately after full payment is received. Small items will be shipped within 3-5 business days after full payment is received. (Smaller pieces are usually sent via UPS or FedEx.) Larger/heavier pieces will take approximately 5-10 business days to prepare for shipping after full payment is received. (We use a trusted freight carrier for these items: some items need to be wrapped and crated to prepare them for the trip. We must take great care due to temperature differences between origination and destination to prevents extreme expansion and contraction which might damage a piece's materials or finishes. Protection might include extra costs in insulation packaging.) All items will be fully insured to cover any damages that may occur during shipping and delivery. An item can be shipped directly to an installer in your area, which will complete the last mile and perform the installation as agreed. Local customers are always welcome to pick up orders from our shop in Miami Lakes, Florida. We will work with you to find the best delivery and installation option to fit your needs.

Refunds/Exchanges
Due to the nature of our made-to-order, limited-edition items, all sales are final; no refunds or exchanges. However, in the event of a manufacturing defect, please contact us and we will gladly work with you to fix what is wrong.

Installation of Pieces
Sketch to form pieces are uniquely designed, structural products. Proper installation is vital to the end-user’s safety, as well as general enjoyment of the piece. We highly recommend professional installation. Some of these pieces are VERY heavy and may cause injury (or worse) if not installed properly, like any heavy piece of furniture precautions should be taken to insure that smaller "beings" aren't placed in direct harm during and after installation. Therefore we cannot stress enough that proper installation by a professional is required on all heavy pieces. All hardware must be installed, no substitutions should be made or any decisions not already made by us should be "retooled or redesigned" by you, we crafted it to be badass, strong and safe our way: enjoy it as we designed it and with the parts we've sold you. When installed properly a sketch to form piece has been designed to remain rigid and stable for as long as the end user chooses to, hopefully multiple generations.

Warranty
When we say lifetime we mean our lifetime, and we mean metal hardware and wood structure, not finishes. Our intention is to fix a part or connection that has gone wrong that clearly should not have, making you whole is our goal. If a part has completely failed due to a major structural failure of a material, fastener, or connection we fabricated due to normal use, we would like for you to submit images of the failure and a full description of what took place. We reserve the right to evaluate the event that caused the failure and analyze the failure in order
to determine if it was a material failure or someone managed intentionally go beyond the designed failure point.
Our pieces are designed to be STRONG at their intended function but they can be broken if you decide to take on the task, we advise that you don’t and that you enjoy the piece with more peaceful intentions. Playing on top of pieces, dancing, or any other more frisky recreational forays on a cantilever element can, could and or will cause a split or failure. In the event of intentional destruction we’ll charge for the labor, materials, finishing material, and delivery/ installation of the repaired item.
Although incredibly strong our pieces have just as fragile a finish as any other non eco-wood furniture goods. Although we take great care in using hardwoods, solid woods, and other materials in places of greater wear/tear, we can’t always foresee how you will interact and cause wear in obscure places. Our finishes are guaranteed to perform in the manner and as long as the manufacturer who supplies us warranties the item (we will disclose this on an item by item basis due to your freedom to select a finish). We will evaluate finish material failures in order to find a solution for both parties. In this current collection we DO NOT make items that are designed for exterior use, our finishes are NOT designed to be exposed to exterior elements or high salinity environments unless we take the extra precaution for the item to do so. Creatures and insects burrowing or eating your furniture’s wood, is beyond our control and outside of any warranty. Our finishes DO NOT have a lifetime warranty.

We recycle ALL of our wood scrap to a local wood recycling plant that uses it to make landscaping mulch. The whole process happens about 6 miles from our shop, we make all efforts to use scrap for testing of finishes, making jigs and for backing when working on material. Some of our sawdust (the larger chunks) we use in the shop for spills, but we are working on making this material available to any local business with use for it.
